I believe that Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays simply for the colors! I love the light pinks and purples matched with gold. So pretty and delicate!

Whether you are doing a "Gal-entine's Day" with friends, sister, mom or a guy needing an idea...I have the perfect list of lovely VDay gifts without breaking the bank. You have exactly one month from today, so no excuses on running out of time.

To highlight some of my favorites...

-MacKenzie Childs vase. Every time she gets flowers she will think of you when she uses this darling vase. (I really am wanting this for myself)

-Dana's Bakery macarons. It is NO secret that macarons are my favorite treat in the whole wide world. Dana's Bakery delivers to your home and they are wonderful as well as beautiful. However, if you live in Tulsa I would go to Antoinette Baking Co. for macarons. They are the BEST and are also doing a mixed dozen for Valentines!

-Jo Malone perfume. If you want to smell pretty all day then this fragrance is a must for you. All Jo Malone products are amazing but Peony and Blush Suede is my "go to" scent.

-Veuve champagne. There is no comparison.

-Volcano candle in mercury glass canister. The is the only candle scent I own. I love the new mercury glass look ...it just makes it THAT much better

-Cupcakes and Cashmere coffee table book. If you haven't read Cupcakes and Cashmere blog then do so NOW. It's deliciously wonderful! This book is new to my ever growing collection and my new guide to style, chic party planning and home organization. (On sale now on Amazon)

Gorgeous Golden Globes

 

Ever since I was a little girl, I swoon over any award show for the dresses. The E! Red Carpet show is always my favorite! I love seeing what and who everyone is wearing. Above were my favorite picks of the night!

 

Emily Blunt looked amazing in this crisscrossed Michael Kors gown. I loved the simplicity and how she rocked aquamarine jewels to really give the dress an extra pop!

 

Jennifer Lopez...I mean WOW!  This sparkling Zuhair Murad number was smoking hot and she owned it!

 

Nothing says "movie star" like shimmer and feathers! Julianne Moore's Givenchy dress was truly beautiful! This may have been my favorite look of the night. I thought it was perfect.

 

Miss Golden Globes 2015, Greer Grammer, looked radiant in this blush and gold princess dress. It was everything that a red carpet needed last night and I was obsessed with this look!

Sorry for the delayed blogging, but I have a good excuse. I spent the last week in paradise!

 

Instead of presents, my parents took my family to the Grand Cayman Islands for Christmas this year. It was magical!

 

The water was the most gorgeous shade of turquoise and the weather was cozy warm. From delicious seafood to swimming with sting rays...it was quite a memorable time.

 

I just wanted to share some of these memories with you all and am SO excited to see what the rest of this year has in store!
