Every girl needs a special space in their home, whether it's to read, to write, or to just relax. That place for me is a desk. 

Matt recently put a desk and chair (identical to the ones above) in my closet for Valentine's Day. I couldn't wait to fix it up!

I definitely recommend coffee table books, a fun candle, and a good lamp. I'm also OBSESSED with the donut coasters above for my coffee cup. This will no doubt be my sanctuary of peace and online shopping.

VDay Gifts for Him

Seeing lots of flowers, hearts, pinks and reds make us girls forget that Valentine's Day is also for the fellas! 

I sometimes struggle with gifts for Matt, so I try and buy things around his hobbies, like working out or fishing.

The new Apple TV is a family member in our house...I'm considering knitting it a sweater, since we use it SO much! Seriously the BEST gift ever! 

The same goes for copper mugs, anything from Yeti and the

 Swell bottles. 

I recently put a battery charger in Matt's stocking for Christmas and it was seriously the best idea! He is notorious for not plugging in his dead phone while fishing.

I am a regular at the Nordstrom Rack here in Tulsa and it's no secret that I have Valentine's Day on the brain.

As a girl, we love accessories and just "stuff" in general. I seem to have birthday parties, special occasion dinners, or holidays every month of the year. Nordstrom Rack is my 'go to' place to find special gifts for a fraction of boutique prices!

I personally just bought the phone cover and socks above, but plan on going back for that darling pink camera, key chain ring and rose quartz ring later this week!
