I have not been day dreaming of a tropical island or sitting on the beach with a daiquiri in my hand...I have been longing for FALL!!

The thought of booties, leather and buffalo check button ups make my heart skip a beat!

I mean, my sister and I are already stocking up on candy corn ...but that's another problem and another addiction...we will concentrate on fashion today.

One of the best things about the upcoming season are mixing patterns! I am obsessed with checked tops and leopard shoes. Throw in a pair of leather skinnies and you will no doubt look like a total smoke show!

The outfit above is so versatile b/c it can be dressed up or down. This will be my uniform from Oct to Feb and I will have no problem being a total repeat offender.

Fall = Plaid. One of my favorite patterns! Buffalo check print makes me think of leaves falling, crisp air, football, snuggling, and drinking hot (spiked) cider around a fire. I love a plaid boyfriend button up with dark denim and boots. It's typically my fall uniform.

The rain boots above are my ALL TIME favorite! I bought my Burberry wellies 8 years ago and still wear them! So, consider it an investment.  

The best part about buying plaid is knowing that it's a classic print and won't go out of style. I usually stock up and wear from Oct to Feb every year. Some of my pieces are years old and still fit the trend. You can't go wrong with a little check.
